Railway departments strengthen transport organizations to help migrant workers return home safely
On January 15, the sixth day of Spring Festival, the national railway is expected to send 11.26 million passengers, a year-on-year increase of 7.3%. The railway department adheres to the people-centered development idea, increases the transportation capacity, strengthens the transportation organization, implements various service measures, and strives to meet the return needs of migrant workers. On January 14, China's railways sent 11.073 million passengers, a year-on-year increase of 1.132 million, an increase of 11.4%. Railway transportation was safe and orderly. Among them, the Beijing bureau group company sent 971000 passengers, an increase of 45000 on a year-on-year basis, an increase of 4.9%. Shanghai Bureau Group Company sent 2.298 million passengers, an increase of 206000 on a year-on-year basis, an increase of 9.9%. Wuhan and Chengdu Bureau Group Co., Ltd. put empty cars in areas with concentrated migrant workers, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, to provide transport capacity support for migrant workers in Sichuan and Hubei to return home. Xi'an Bureau Group Co., Ltd. operates three migrant trains from Xi'an to Chengdu, Chongqing, Zhengzhou and other directions. More than 1000 migrant workers take high-speed rail trains to return to their hometown for reunion. Shanghai Bureau Group Co., Ltd. has launched the customized service of "group chartered car", which has operated 18 chartered cars and transported more than 8000 migrant workers. Guangzhou Bureau Group Co., Ltd. has run 116 poverty alleviation special trains, including "migrant workers from ethnic minorities in Nujiang Prefecture", "motorcycles" and "urban builders", to help more than 140000 migrant workers in poor areas of Hunan, Hubei, Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan and Guangxi to come home and get together smoothly. Nanchang Bureau Group Co., Ltd. and Guangdong and Jiangxi Federation of trade unions jointly set up a special train for migrant workers to return home, transporting more than 500 migrant workers from western Guangdong for the new year. Liuzhou station of Nanning Bureau Group Co., Ltd. cooperated with the local labor union system to carry out the warm flow action of "love migrant workers warm home road". 691 migrant workers from Guangxi have been organized to take the "2020 labor union safe home" special train to return home safely. Kunming Bureau Group Co., Ltd. opened the "Yunnan Guangdong labor cooperation return train" to facilitate the return of Yunnan migrant workers in Guangdong. Urumqi Bureau Group Co., Ltd. has opened 20 passenger trains from Turpan to Kashgar, which greatly facilitates the travel of migrant workers in southern Xinjiang. The railway department reminds the majority of passengers that at present, the application of e-ticket has basically covered the national high-speed railway and intercity railway. If the ticket purchased by the passenger is an e-ticket, it is not necessary to exchange for paper ticket, and the ticket can be checked by holding the ID card of ticket purchase. If reimbursement voucher is required, it can be printed at any station or ticket window in the country with the original valid ID card used during ticket purchase within 30 days before or after the train starts. At the same time, the Railway Department reminded that the EMU is a fully closed, non-smoking train.
