Vocational skills competition of the whole road freight system held

From October 15 to 18, 2019 vocational skills competition of the whole road freight system was held in Changsha City, Hunan Province. 440 players from the whole road freight system participated in the competition. Finally, China Railway Guangzhou Bureau Group Co., Ltd. won the first group award, China Railway Nanning Bureau and Zhengzhou Bureau Group Co., Ltd. won the second group award, and China Railway Lanzhou Bureau, Beijing Bureau and Harbin Bureau Group Co., Ltd. won the third group award.

Compared with the previous competition, this competition fully considers the development trend of cargo loading integration. For the first time, it organizes freight transport and loading and unloading personnel to compete at the same time, which involves more types of work, larger scale and wider participation. It advocates one specialty and multiple abilities, and it is the first time to carry out the loading and unloading driver and cargo loading all-round competition. The freight transport watchman and loading and unloading watchman can pass the general examination of different types of work, and encourage competent and qualified loading and unloading personnel. The unloading watchman and the loading and unloading driver shall participate in the practical projects of loading and unloading of other types of work, and strive to cultivate versatile loading and unloading talents.

During the competition, the undertaker also held an exhibition and exchange activity of "railway craftsman", inviting 8 freight workers who were awarded the title of "railway craftsman" of China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. to tell the growth story, show the advanced demeanor and craftsman spirit, and encourage all Railway Bureau and group companies to create conditions for training "railway craftsman". During the competition, there were also symposiums for managers and employees of various railway bureaus and groups to gather ideas and strive to promote the reform and development of railway freight transport.

According to reports, 440 contestants were selected from nearly 80000 cargo loading practitioners. They are fearless of hardships and strive to be the first. Through competition, exchange and learning, they broaden their horizons, improve their skills and enhance their friendship. Wang Xin, the freight watchman of Guangzhou freight center of Guangzhou Bureau Group Co., Ltd., who won the first prize in the freight duty staff competition, made an initiative on behalf of the competitors. He must keep in mind his mission, forge ahead, study hard and improve his ability, and make new contributions and new achievements in promoting the high-quality development of railway freight work.
