Introduction

Changsha Railway Station is located at Wuyidong Road, Changsha City, Hunan Province, with postcode 410001. Founded in 1975. It was completed in June 1977. When it was completed, it was the second largest railway station in China (the first Beijing station)

Changsha is 1587 kilometers from Beijing West Station, 1593 kilometers from Beijing Station and 707 kilometers from Guangzhou Station. It is under the jurisdiction of Guangzhou Railway (Group) Company. It is now a first class station. Passenger transportation: handling passenger arrival and landing; checking luggage and parcels. No freight business.

Changsha Old Railway Station was built in 1912. It is located in the south of today's May 1st Avenue in the urban center and opposite Zhaojiaping in the north of Liucheng Bridge. It covers an area of about 10,000 square meters. The square in front of the station is less than 1,000 square meters and the ground is uneven. There are four lanes, two platforms and a waiting room in the station. The equipment is very simple. Until the liberation of Changsha in 1949, Changsha Railway Station was assigned to Wuchang Branch of Hengyang Railway Administration, and some bungalows were built for office, ticket sales and baggage handling. The newly repaired waiting room is only more than 600 square meters, with more than 200 rectangular wooden chairs. More than 20 passenger trains are boarded and disembarked every day. There are only 34,000 passengers boarding and disembarking, and the peak period is less than 10,000 people. By 1975, Comrade Deng Xiaoping had put great emphasis on developing the national economy, giving full play to the great role of the "artery" of railways, and only after many years of shelving the new plan for Changsha Railway Station was put on the important agenda. After the Ministry of Railways and the provincial government submitted to the State Council for approval, they decided to build a new station. After the new railway line was opened, the original track of about 8 kilometers, which was laid in the urban center and hindered the development of the city, was dismantled immediately. A 6031 a 6031 Changsha New Station began construction in July 1975 at the terminal of Chengdong 51 Road. The new site was a good place for construction and development. At that time, it belonged to two production brigades in the suburbs of May 1 and Mars. Apart from the provincial reserve bureau, the provincial broadcasting equipment factory and the city sauce factory, the rest were farmhouses, vegetable fields, orange orchards, fish ponds and wasteland. The most headache for the builders is that there is a large marsh Lake in the main building, ticket office and square of the station. Reeds and weeds are overgrown on the lakeside. Silt deposits in the lake are 2,160,3113 meters deep and 7-8 meters deep, which brings great difficulties to the construction. In order to realize road, water and electricity communication as soon as possible and speed up the construction of station projects, the Ministry of Railway, Guangzhou Bureau and provinces and cities mobilized the best technical forces and equipment, and used the method of sand driving to pour a car, a train of hundreds of thousands of tons of river sand into the swamp low-lying areas. On the flat land, the construction professionals, the people of the whole city and the PLA officers and soldiers competed with great revolutionary enthusiasm to build a new station in Chairman Mao's hometown every minute. Whether day or night, hot or cold, machine sounds, trumpet sounds and singing are heard all the time. Building materials, electrical appliances, decoration, equipment and equipment needed for the construction of the station, Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Hubei, Guangdong and other provinces and municipalities put forward what to give to ensure supply and full support. A 6031 a 6031. On July 1, 1977, the 56th anniversary of the birth of the Communist Party of China, Changsha New Station was officially opened to traffic amid solemn celebrations. The station building is 23 meters high, 151 meters wide, 19,000 square meters, 37,000 square meters square and 63 meters high. A 6031
The grand and spacious new station is not what it used to be. The total area of the station is over 40,000 square meters. It has five ordinary, mother-child, military waiting rooms, six VIPs and soft-seat waiting rooms, four platforms and eight passenger trains arriving and departing routes. It receives and departs more than 80 trains a day, with an average of 40,000 passengers per day and more than 100,000 passengers per day at peak time. There is a modernized scene inside and outside the station. This year's construction covers an area of more than 60,000 square meters, Changsha's largest station greening square, "11" will be open to visitors, soon the square connecting the station tunnels open, Station East and West can be boarded and departed.

Changsha is a national transportation hub. Beijing-Guangzhou Railway runs through the north and south. Hunan-Guizhou, Zhejiang-Jiangxi two lines connect East and west. Changsha-Shimen Railway is under construction. After completion, the railway traffic will be further increased. Changsha Railway Station is a modern large station on the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway Line. It has fast and slow waiting rooms and VIP waiting rooms. It sends out or passes nearly 100 passenger trains every day and reaches all major and medium-sized cities in the country.

Thirty-two years ago, the secret of Changsha Railway Station design

. Visitors who have been to Changsha are used to taking pictures in front of Changsha Railway Station. The towering bell tower and the red torch of chili pepper on the bell tower of the railway station seemed to be the symbol of Changsha at that time. If you have Erfu, you can also hear the music "Oriental Red" floating in the bell tower. Who knows that the designer of the Bell Tower racked his brains for the "orientation" of the flames of the Bell Tower Torch? Who knows why torches are like hot peppers? Why did Timing Music Choose Oriental Red? How many design secrets are hidden in Changsha Railway Station, which was built 32 years ago, this article gradually reveals for you. During the Cultural Revolution, Deng Xiaoping laid great emphasis on developing the national economy and giving full play to the great role of the railway "artery". The old Changsha Station located in Xiaowumen is small in scale, inadequate in capacity, long in operation time and aging in equipment, which has been overwhelmed by the 1970s. Moreover, the construction in the center of Changsha also restricts the city's Faa 6031
exhibition. In addition, the noise of "bombardment" of train steam engine disturbs people's life. Hunan Province and the Ministry of Railway have studied many times to move the station eastward. A 6031 Luo Chun'an, then director of the design office of Hunan Architectural Design Institute, revealed that in 1974, after seeing the report of Hunan's intention to build a new railway station, Minister Wanli of the Ministry of Railway immediately signed the agreement and put forward some suggestions on the design. It is suggested that Hunan should embody in the design of the new station "one is Changsha, the other is the station, which is smaller than Beijing Station and better than Guangzhou Station". It was during the Cultural Revolution that the new railway station in Changsha had special political significance. Hunan is Chairman Mao's hometown, Changsha is Chairman Mao's early revolutionary city, and its political significance is extraordinary. Therefore, the higher authorities require that the shape of Changsha Railway Station can express the theme of "sparks can start a prairie fire". A 6031 a 6031 In order to express this theme, the designers have made extensive discussions and put forward many design schemes. A 6031 a 6031 The Bell Tower and Torch A 6031 a 6031 with "National Style" are built. Due to the special political requirements in the construction of Changsha Railway Station, and considering various assumptions, a unique elevation scheme is finally determined for Changsha Railway Station: staggered front and rear layers, Tianzi-shaped plane with tunnel entrance, and the Bell Tower Torch with national style. It symbolizes that Changsha was the first place where Chairman Mao ignited the revolutionary fire. The bell tower

is an indispensable part of the station design. Its emergence is necessary both from the needs of the people and from the construction of the station. Some experts who reported in Beijing also participated in the seminar. When reporting, Minister Wanli paid more attention to the shape. He suggested that the design should embody the concept of Chairman Mao's early revolutionary memorial site, as well as the characteristics of traffic buildings, and that there must be a bell tower. A 6031 a 6031 Clock costs 165,500 yuan a 6031 a 6031. Generally speaking, there are big clocks at the stations to facilitate people to take trains. Because the train in and out of the station is calculated in minutes, minutes to minutes, minutes to leave, so the new station must have a big clock, you can see it in a very far place. At that time, people liked to wear watches. Everyone's watches had errors, some were two minutes slow, some were two minutes fast, two minutes fast, no problem. You were two minutes slow, and the train left. That was a headache. Therefore, there is usually a big clock in the conspicuous place of the station, which is convenient for people to unify the time. The station departure is also based on this clock. At that time, the cost of the clock was 165,500 yuan. The Bell Tower is the modelling center of the whole facade. Without careful deliberation, it will affect the overall situation. The top of the bell tower adopts the traditional style of ancient Chinese architecture, but the eaves are not warped and curved, which makes it slightly new in the tradition. The final design decision is to use triple eaves glazed tile roof. According to the needs of Changsha city planning at that time, the bell tower was in the middle of the top of the station, facing the central axis of May 1st Road. Music was chosen as the most popular "Oriental Red" at that time. The song "Oriental Red" reflects the love for Chairman Mao. According to Luo Chun'an, considering the quality of clocks, the Ministry of Railways has decided to hand over them to Shanghai Clock Factory, which has a 40-year history of making clocks. The whole computer room of the bell tower is custom-made in Shanghai and then shipped to Changsha for installation. The music played was also made in Shanghai Bell Factory. The tall bell tower has become a new commanding point in Changsha. It can be seen from north to Laodao River and west to Xiangjiang Bridge. At that time, Changsha Railway Station was the tallest building in Changsha. At that time, the requirement for the bell tower was that the train could see the bell tower and torch of the station through the Laodaohe Station, and the sound of the time alarm could be heard a few kilometers away. Wang Chengzong, 32 years ago, was in charge of propaganda work in the railway department. He remembered that the relevant parties required a huge torch on the top of the main building of the station, symbolizing that Hunan was Chairman Mao's hometown, and the flames of the Chinese revolution were ignited. In the specific design, the "orientation" of the flame has become a brainstorming problem.

From the present station location, is sitting east to west. If, in general, the front is in the west, and if the torch is to fly, the front is the right direction of the torch, that is to say, the torch is to fly to the east. At that time, there was a political problem, "Because Chairman Mao once said: the east wind overwhelms the West wind, the east wind represents the strength of the revolutionary people, and the west wind is the landmark." Aiming at a decadent and declining system. If the torch drifted eastward, wouldn't the west wind overwhelm the East wind? That's not going to work. Make political mistakes. If we design it according to "East Wind Overwhelms West Wind", the torch will fly from east to west. In that case, the main entrance of the station is facing west, which is neither reasonable nor attractive. A 6031 a 6031 Wanli clapper torch flame burns a 6031 a 6031 for a long time. Nobody can solve the problem of torch wind direction, so they have to discuss it collectively. It can be discussed and discussed without a way to achieve the best of both worlds. In order to set the schedule for the project as soon as possible, Minister Wanli finally decided to come up with a plan that everyone had no objection to --- no wind, torch flames burning in the sky! __________ A 6031 a 6031 Flames rush up into the sky, looking red and red, especially like a red pepper. Hunan people like to eat hot pepper. People from all over the country to Changsha Station say that this is the favorite pepper of Hunan people, and we basically agree with this statement today.
