National Railway Passenger Flow Continuously Running at High Level on October 2

On October 2, the railway passenger flow continued to run at a high level, with an estimated 13.6 million passengers and 909 passenger trains.

During the National Day holidays, railway departments further expanded transport capacity, optimized train service, and strived to enhance passenger travel experience. Various and colorful activities such as singing the motherland, reciting Red Classics in praise of New China, singing and dancing performances were carried out at major stations and trains, creating a good festival atmosphere.

On October 1, 17.133 million passengers were sent by railways nationwide, an increase of 886,000 passengers, an increase of 5.5% over the same period last year, creating a new record of one-day passenger traffic on National Day holidays, and ensuring safe and orderly railway transportation.
