2019-09-24| Pandatrips | News

On the morning of September 18, the construction of Jinan-Lai High-speed Railway Project started at the site of Zhangqiu South Station of Jinan-Lai High-speed Railway, marking the formal beginning of the construction of Jinan-Lai High-speed Railway Project. The Jinan-Lai high-speed railway construction project has a total line length of 117.503 kilometers and a designed driving speed of 350 kilometers per hour. There are six stations in total. Among them, there are Xueye and North Laiwu stations in the jurisdiction of Laiwu District. This means that the long-awaited "high-speed railway dream" of 950,000 people in Laiwu District will soon come true from the dream.

Jinan-Laiwu high-speed railway is the people's livelihood and people's heart project that the vast majority of citizens in Laiwu District are eager to look forward to. Jinan-Laiwu high-speed railway is related to the realization of the people's dream of high-speed railway in Laiwu District. It is of great significance to improve the happiness index and satisfaction of the people in Laiwu District. Jilai high-speed railway project is not only the aspiration of the people, but also the development needs and general trend. The Jinan-Lai high-speed railway not only paves the "golden road" to raise Shandong's economic leader, but also directly promotes the "Kangzhuang Avenue" to speed up the economic and social crossing of Laiwu District, which is the road of integration, people's livelihood and rise. The Jinan-Laiwu high-speed railway will open the Beijing-Jinan-Laiwu corridor and promote the development of towns (streets) and villages along the line.

At present, the main line project of Qufu-Linyi section of Lunan High-speed Railway has been completed and is scheduled to open to traffic at the end of November. In the future, the Jinan-Lai high-speed railway will be extended to Linyi, which will be connected with Linyi North Station of South Shandong High-speed Railway. People in Laiwu District can also take the high-speed railway at their doorstep to Shanghai. With the formal start of Jinan-Lai high-speed railway construction project, Laiwu District will take the high-speed railway as the center, connect the existing highway network with the high-speed railway, and form a pluralistic and interconnected transportation network.

It is understood that the Wa-ri Railway passing through Laiwu District has been completed and opened to traffic. Laiwu District will also actively promote the implementation of the road planning and Pre-Station square project of Laiwu Railway Station, so as to form the same frequency resonance between railways and highways, and promote the leapfrog development of Laiwu economy. In terms of expressway, there are four expressways passing through Laiwu area, namely G2 Beijing-Shanghai Expressway, G22 Qinglan Expressway, S26 Laitai Expressway and S29 Binlai Expressway. Among them, the G2 Beijing-Shanghai Expressway is being rebuilt and expanded. It is expected to be completed by the end of next year. After opening to traffic, it will reach two-way eight lanes, and its traffic capacity will be further improved. The S26 Laitai Expressway is currently undergoing road maintenance. It will be completed by the end of October, and the driving quality will be effectively improved after it is opened to traffic. The S29 Binlai Expressway Reconstruction and Extension Project has been opened to traffic with eight lanes in both directions, which effectively reduces the traffic pressure between Beijing and Shanghai and shortens the time distance between Laiwu District and Beijing and Shanghai.

Highway transportation network with highway as the framework, national provincial highway as the support and rural highway as the supplement has been built. Highway and railway transportation are the main transportation modes, and the comprehensive transportation system with coordinated development of other transportation modes is becoming more and more perfect. It is believed that with the accelerated construction of the Jinan-Lai high-speed railway project, Laiwu's traffic will be "accessible in all directions" and the preliminary drawing of the "big traffic" pattern of interconnection and interoperability will be made.
