National Railway Mid-Autumn Festival Transportation, officially launched on the 12th!
The National Railway Mid-Autumn Festival Transportation was officially launched on December 12 and ended on September 15 for a total of four days. Mid-Autumn Festival will be dominated by short-and medium-distance tourists. Local railway departments plan to open and add trailers to meet the upcoming peak passenger flow and passenger demand.
China Railway Nanning Bureau will increase or reconnect 284 passenger trains
During the Mid-Autumn Festival this year, Nanning Bureau Group Company will concentrate passengers from Nanning to Beihai, Guangzhou, Guiyang and other places, and open or reconnect 284 passenger trains to meet the travel needs of passengers during the holidays. During the holidays, 59 EMUs will be re-connected daily in southern Guangzhou, northern Guiyang and Northern Xi'an. There are 4 EMUs from Nanning East to Beihai, Beihai to Guilin, and 4 from Fangcheng Port and Xingan North to Fangcheng Port every day. In terms of general-speed trains, there are four additional trains running daily between Chongzuo and Pingxiang in Nanning. At the same time, the trans-provincial long-distance and intra-regional short-distance passenger cars and trailers are added to expand transport capacity.
China Railway Nanchang Bureau: 177 additional passenger trains will be opened
China Railway Nanchang Bureau Group Co. is expected to send 3.25 million passengers. In-pipe passenger flow is still dominated by short-distance family visits, tourism, students and other passengers. It mainly flows to Nanchang, Pingxiang, Fuzhou, Yingtan, Jingdezhen, Ganzhou, Longyan, Fuzhou and Xiamen. Long-distance passenger flow is mainly concentrated in the provinces of Jiangxi and Fujian to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Beijing and other directions. During the Mid-Autumn Festival, there will be 177 additional passenger trains. Among them, 16 pairs of night trains will be operated between Fuzhou, Xiamen, Longyan, Sanming, Wuyishan, Taining and Ganzhou. Taiyuan Bureau Group Co., Ltd. will operate 14 peak train trains in Taiyuan South and Xi'an North. All EMU trains from Taiyuan south to Beijing West will be re-connected.
Electronic tickets are used on some railway lines such as Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity
During the holidays, some railway lines such as Shanghai-Nanjing intercity use electronic tickets. Railway Department reminds: relevant ticket railway department may no longer issue paper tickets. Passengers are requested to use the original documents when purchasing tickets to self-help verify the real-name system and check in and out tickets.
