Wuhan Chengdu rail water intermodal train resumed normal operation
At 10:00 on February 28, a train with 40 containers of edible oil and part of anti epidemic production and living materials set out from Wuhan Yangluo Port Container Rail transport base, "green light all the way" to Chengdu.
This train is the first rail water combined transport train from Wuhan by China Railway Wuhan Bureau Group Co., Ltd. during the epidemic prevention and control period, marking the resumption of normal operation of the rail water combined transport train from Wuhan to Chengdu.
With the resumption of work and production all over the country, Wuhan Bureau Group Co., Ltd. insists on the prevention and control of the epidemic and the prevention and control of blocking war and ensuring the safety and smoothness of railway transportation. It actively overcomes the difficulties such as the blockade of urban passage and the stoppage of public transportation. It implements the requirements of ensuring the smoothness of railway and water transport, fully guarantees the safety and smoothness of transportation, and provides reliable transportation support for the prevention and control of the epidemic.
The goods and materials carried by the train will be transported to Wuhan by Yangtze River waterway or road from Shanghai and other places, and then transported to Chongqing, Chengdu and other areas by rail water intermodal train. We will resume the operation of rail water intermodal trains from Wuhan to Chengdu and other places, providing strong support for the orderly resumption of production and material supply in Shanghai, Wuhan, Chengdu and other places.
This train is from Wuhan to Chengdu, with a total distance of more than 1300 kilometers, and it will arrive at the destination in about 30 hours. Wuhan Bureau Group Co., Ltd. works closely with Wuhan port and Waterway Development Group Co., Ltd., Wuhan COSCO Shipping Container Co., Ltd. and other cooperative units to ensure that the transportation related equipment and facilities operate well, the personnel and material reserves are sufficient, and the epidemic prevention measures are implemented in place.
