New development station building of Pingdu North Station of Weilai high speed railway starts to rise

At present, Pingdu North Station of Weilai high speed railway has completed the pile foundation construction of the station building and entered the main frame concrete pouring stage of the ground station building. It is expected that the main frame construction will be completed in February, the station building decoration and platform canopy engineering construction will be completed by the end of June, and the information engineering system commissioning will be completed by the end of August and the acceptance conditions will be met. The project is located in the east side of Hangzhou Road, the west side of Fuzhou Road and the south side of Rongwei expressway. It is an important part of the "four horizontal, six vertical and three ring" high-speed railway network in Shandong Province. Pingdu North Station of Weilai high speed railway covers an area of 26 mu, with a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan. The construction scale of the platform is 2 sets and 6 lines, and the construction area of the station building is 12000 square meters. Pingdu north station was officially started in October 2019, and it is planned to complete the commissioning of information engineering system and meet the acceptance conditions by the end of August 2020. After the project is put into operation, it will fill the gap of Pingdu high-speed railway. At that time, the fastest running time of high-speed rail from Pingdu north station to Weifang north station will be controlled at about 20 minutes, the fastest 70 minutes to Jinan east station, the fastest 50 minutes to Qingdao north station, the fastest 3 hours to Beijing and 10 minutes to Yantai, and the fastest 60 minutes to Yantai, which will greatly promote the interconnection between Pingdu and qingyanwei area.
