Shanghe Hangzhou high speed railway is an important part of China's eight vertical and eight horizontal road network planning and Beijing Hong Kong Kowloon high speed railway. It starts from Shangqiu in Henan Province in the north, passes Fuyang, Hefei, Wuhu and other places in Anhui Province in the south, and reaches Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, with a total length of 795 kilometers. Today's trial run is part of the north line from Shangqiu, Henan to Hefei, Anhui. In addition, today's high-speed railway from Zhengzhou to Fuyang is also running in parallel. It is connected to the Shanghai Hefei Hangzhou high-speed railway after the Fuyang fair.
it is understood that the northern section of the Shanghai Hefei Hangzhou high speed railway will be ready for operation by the end of November this year, and the opening time of the whole line is 2020. At that time, it will become a new fast passenger transport channel between the central and western regions and East China, and it will be interconnected with the Yangtze River Delta railway network. After the whole line is opened to traffic, it will be of great significance to realize the passenger and freight distribution of the second channel in East China and to help the region develop towards higher quality integration.
