At 6:13 on June 9, a 40 car open top box special train loaded with cement clinker slowly drove into the port special line of Changxingdao station. This is the 88th cement clinker special train of China Railway Shenyang Bureau Group Co., Ltd. Dalian Changxing Island branch of Liaoning Port Railway International Logistics Industry Group Co., Ltd. which has successfully arrived at the special line after the start of Yatai cement clinker transportation project. As of June 17, they shipped a total of 44.78 vehicles of cement clinker with 280000 tons, realizing an income of 25 million yuan.

Changxing Island branch is located in Changxing Island Economic Zone, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, with 4.965 kilometers of self operating railway and 360000 square meters of comprehensive logistics park in Changxing island port. Since this year, the company has seized the favorable opportunity of expanding domestic demand and increasing demand for building materials such as cement clinker. Through a series of measures such as accurate positioning of potential customers, optimization of logistics service plan, improvement of vehicle collection and distribution port operation rate, and reduction of comprehensive logistics cost of the enterprise, the company has focused on expanding the general contracting business of cement clinker rail sea intermodal logistics.

Jilin Yatai Mingcheng Cement Co., Ltd. is a large cement clinker manufacturer in Northeast China, with a large number of products sold to Shandong, Shanghai, Zhejiang and other places. Changxing Island branch sent a special person to visit the enterprise to understand its production process, production capacity and transportation volume. According to the needs of the enterprise, it formulated a transportation plan of opening a special train for open top box and shipping cement clinker from Mingcheng, Jilin to Changxing island port and then shipping it to other areas. This plan has been recognized by the enterprise, and the two sides signed a logistics service agreement with an annual traffic volume of 600000 tons.

The company also establishes liaison mechanism with Dalian freight center, Changxing island port, Dalian train depot and other units to ensure efficient and orderly transportation of cement clinker. They actively visited Changxing island port, coordinated the matters of cement clinker gathering port, obtained two sites close to the berth for the enterprise to pile up cement clinker, minimized the time of transfer and shipment, ensured that the cement clinker was quickly shipped out of the port, and really served the heart of the cargo owner.
