At least five high-speed rail projects will be started in Shandong this year, and the operating mileage will reach 2110km by the end of the year

On January 7, it was learned from the transportation work meeting of Shandong Province that up to nine high-speed railway projects will be started in Shandong Province in 2020 to ensure the completion and opening of Weilai high-speed railway. By the end of the year, the operation mileage of high-speed railway in Shandong Province will reach 2110km. It is reported that the high-speed rail projects to be constructed this year include five high-speed rail projects: Tianjin Weifang section of the second channel of Beijing Shanghai high speed rail, Weifang Yantai section, Laixi Rongcheng section, Jinan Binzhou section and Jinan Zaozhuang tourism high-speed rail. The high-speed rail projects to be started in this year include four high-speed rail projects: the Shandong section of Beijing xiongshang high speed rail, the Weifang Xinyi section of the second channel of Beijing Shanghai high speed rail, the second channel of Qingdao West Beijing Shanghai high speed rail, and the Dezhou Shanghe high speed rail. In addition, Shandong will make every effort to promote the construction of five high-speed railway projects under construction, including Qufu Heze section, Heze Lankao section, Jilai high-speed railway, Weilai high-speed railway and Jinan Zhengzhou high-speed railway.
