The construction started in the early morning of December 14. After two hours of key construction, it was successfully completed at 2:30 on December 14. Then it turns to cold sliding, hot sliding and other construction links. It will be officially opened after the project passes the acceptance and gets the approval from the railway department.

on November 26, with the opening of Rizhao Linyi Qufu section of Lunan (Juran) high speed railway, Qingdao West Railway Station added 17 new passenger trains, 6 additional circular passenger trains, and the first train to Linyi, Qufu and Tai'an. At present, there are 47 scheduled trains in Qingdao west railway station every day, reaching Jinan, Weihai, Yantai, Linyi, Qufu, Tai'an, Beijing, Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, Shenyang, Yancheng, Lianyungang and other cities. After the completion of Qingdao West Railway Station, the EMU train can stay overnight at Qingdao West Railway Station and depart at Qingdao west railway station the next morning, which greatly facilitates the citizens of West Coast new area to take the early bus to all parts of the country.
