Important progress has been made in new Baiguang Intercity Railway
Xinhua news agency, Beijing, Oct. 28 (reporter Qi Zhongxi) the reporter learned from China Railway Construction Co., Ltd. that on the morning of Oct. 28, the cast-in-place continuous beam of the new Baiguang intercity railway, the continuous beam with the largest span of the whole line, namely, the bridge crossing Beijing Zhuhai Expressway, was closed, which marked the important progress of the construction of the offline project of the new Baiguang intercity railway. At the same time, the Guangzhou Foshan ring intercity railway and other new Zhusan railways were built. The key projects of Jiaocheng intercity rail transit project are also promoted in an all-round way.
Zhang Xuqiang, manager of xinbaiguang intercity project of China Railway 22nd Bureau Group Co., Ltd., introduced that the intercity railway project from Xintang to Guangzhou north station via Baiyun Airport with a total length of about 78km is an important part of the intercity rail transit network in the Pearl River Delta. After the completion of the project, it only takes 20 minutes from Xintang station to Baiyun Airport, and 7 minutes from Guangzhou north station to Baiyun Airport.
The 3.887 km long super large bridge across Beijing Zhuhai expressway is the key project of the whole line of the new Baiguang intercity railway. Among them, the largest span of the cast-in-place continuous beam across the Beijing Zhuhai expressway is 128 meters. The builders carefully organized and scientifically constructed the whole closed system of the hanging basket body to ensure that the construction is safe.
It is reported that the new inter city rail project in the Pearl River Delta is a key project of inter city connectivity in the Great Bay area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. After the completion of the project, it will basically cover cities at or above the county level and three-level urban centers in the Pearl River Delta, which is conducive to the formation of "one hour" traffic circle of nine cities with Guangzhou as the central area.
