The design speed of the section from Dongji to Huai'an of Lianzhen railway is 250km / h, which is connected to Dongji station of Lianyan railway and meets with Xuyan railway at Huai'an east station.
The opening of the two railways will rewrite the history that Huai'an and Suqian are not connected to high-speed rail. So far, all 13 cities under the jurisdiction of Jiangsu Province will enter the era of high-speed rail cars.
