Guizhou Zhangchang railway is an important part of the main channel of "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network in China, which is led from Changde station of Shichang Railway, passes through Taoyuan County in the west, connects with Jiaoliu railway in Zhangjiajie, Yongding District and Sangzhi County in Zhangjiajie, Longshan County in Xiangxi, Hunan, Laifeng County and Xianzhi County in Enshi, Hubei. Fengxian County, to Qianjiang District, Chongqing, and to Qianjiang station of Chongqing Huaihua railway. The operation length of the main line of Guizhou Zhangchang railway is 336.257 km, of which the Changde section is 96.033 km.
