According to the office of leading group of inter city railway construction of Bozhou airport in Anhui Province, the trial operation of the north section of Hefei section of Shanghe Hangzhou high speed railway lasted from October 20 to November 20, and the safety assessment was carried out from November 20 to 25, and the conditions for opening were met by the end of November.
During the trial operation, the north section of Hefei of Shanghe Hangzhou high-speed railway will carry out operation tests such as operation diagram test, fault simulation exercise, emergency scenario exercise, driving test according to the diagram, etc., providing scientific reference for the formal operation.
Shanghe Hangzhou high speed railway is an important part of the "eight vertical and eight horizontal" road network planning of China's high-speed railway network and the Beijing Hong Kong Kowloon high speed railway. The cities along the railway are dense and densely populated. It is the most important transportation trunk line that effectively connects the Central Plains, the Yangtze River Huaihe River Delta and the Yangtze River Delta. It is known as the "second channel of East China". Shanghe Hangzhou high speed railway starts from Shangqiu in Henan Province in the north, passes through Bozhou, Fuyang, Huainan, Hefei, Wuhu and Xuancheng in Anhui Province in the south, and reaches Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, with a total length of 794.55 kilometers and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. After the completion and opening of the whole Shangqiu Hangzhou high speed railway, the period from Shangqiu to Hangzhou will be shortened from 11 hours to about 4 hours.
