On September 16, 2019, Beijing Xikai Z97 operation was terminated at Guangzhou East Railway Station. On September 17, Hong Kong Honghong Kai Z98 times changed to start at Guangzhou East Railway Station on the same day. Meanwhile, between Guangzhou East and Hong Kong Honghong, Z97 and Z98 times were suspended.
