Quick response to heavy rain in Sichuan Basin
Since the evening of August 10, a round of heavy rainfall hit the Sichuan Basin. China Railway Chengdu Bureau Group Co., Ltd. immediately launched flood control emergency response to ensure transportation safety.
After the emergency response is started, leading cadres at all levels will command in advance, and give full guidance to flood control, rescue command, additional crew inspection and other work guidance; a party and government principal and business leader in charge will be on duty every day at relevant stations and depots. On November 11, the leaders on duty of relevant units led the shift to observe the cloud and chase the rain, analyze and judge the situation, monitor and control the grid personnel to their posts, and inspect the patrol situation of flood control sites on site.
The public works unit shall arrange special personnel to prevent and control the discharge and dam break of the reservoir, carry out inspection and control on the upper reaches of the railway and the upper reaches of the river, and patrol the upstream of the bridge across the river to observe the abnormal drifting objects such as ships and oil tanks. At the same time, the relevant units and departments should quickly make personnel preparation and division of labor arrangements, and comprehensively check the status of emergency relief materials, equipment, rescue trains and vehicles, as well as the distribution of rescue labor, so as to ensure that emergency rescue can be carried out as soon as possible.
