Yanqing comprehensive transportation service center of Beijing Zhangjiakou high speed railway completed
As the key transportation service supporting facilities for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games, the construction of Yanqing Comprehensive Transportation Service Center (Transfer Center) of Beijing Zhangjiakou high speed railway has been completed recently, and is fully qualified for operation. Yanqing station, an important part of the center, will open soon, laying the foundation for the formal opening of Yanqing Branch Line of Beijing Zhangjiakou high speed railway.
Located in the north of Yanqing station, the transfer center is a comprehensive hub integrating high-speed rail, suburban railway, bus, taxi, bicycle and other modes of transportation. During the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, the transfer center will mainly undertake the traffic conversion and service functions of spectators and some registered personnel. After the Winter Olympic Games, it will serve the daily activities and commuting of the people in Yanqing District and provide travel convenience for tourists.
It is understood that the transfer center project was officially started in December 2018. The whole transfer center is high in the West and low in the East. The silvery white roof is like a winding river flowing down from west to East, showing the architectural concept of "high mountains and flowing water" incisively and vividly. On the south facade glass curtain wall, "Yanqing station" three red characters stand out.
The waiting hall, transfer hall, passenger platform and other spaces are equipped with cultural and artistic reliefs and decorations, fully integrating cultural elements such as winter Olympics, world horticultural exposition, Badaling Great Wall and railway. In terms of passenger service, China Railway Beijing Bureau Group Co., Ltd. pays attention to providing humanized services and designs the whole process of passengers' taking the train, so that passengers can experience the wisdom of Beijing Zhangjiakou high speed railway from the aspects of ticket purchase, arrival, arrival, waiting, boarding, departure (transfer).
As an important part of Beijing Zhangjiakou high speed railway, the opening of Yanqing Branch Line of Beijing Zhangjiakou high speed railway will strengthen the connection among the three major competition areas of Beijing Winter Olympic Games and further improve the transportation conditions along the line.
