Guangxi opens the first "salute anti epidemic hero" special train in China

At 8:19 on July 11, China's first "homage to anti epidemic heroes" special train left Nanning east railway station. 200 novel coronavirus pneumonia patients who fought against the new crown pneumonia epidemic took the train to Sanjiang and Yangshuo to open a 3 day convalescence trip.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, medical staff in Guangxi have responded to the call of the party and the state, volunteered to help Hubei, China's border ports and Cambodia and other front-line epidemic prevention areas at home and abroad, and a number of advanced models of epidemic prevention and control such as Liang Xiaoxia, Liang Xuemei and Li Yingmei have emerged. The 200 anti epidemic medical staff who participated in the recuperation were composed of representatives from Guangxi medical team to Hubei, Cambodia anti epidemic medical expert group and China's border port epidemic prevention and control medical and health team.

In order to pay tribute to the anti epidemic medical staff, China Railway Nanning Bureau Group Co., Ltd., Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Culture and Tourism Department, SAIC GM Wuling Automobile Co., Ltd. and other units jointly organized the event. Nanning Bureau Group Co., Ltd. disinfected the key parts such as the door and armrest of the special train as well as the floor and toilet of the carriage, and opened up a "green channel" to facilitate the medical staff to enter the station and wait for the train.
