"High speed railway reading station" settled in Qinzhou

On June 20, the "high speed railway reading post" opened in Qinzhou east station. This is a public lending and reading site, and also the first site of the fourth batch of national public cultural service system demonstration project - Beibu Gulf Economic Zone Library Service Alliance.

"High speed railway reading station" is located in the waiting hall of Qinzhou east railway station, covering an area of about 27 square meters. It is equipped with self-service lending machine, electronic reading equipment, e-book lending machine, paper books and more than 500 periodicals. At present, books are changed once a month, about 200 volumes each time. Most books are based on historical and cultural, folk customs, tourism resources and other types of books.

"High speed railway reading station" is constructed by the railway department in cooperation with the local public library, which provides the intelligent city library, e-book lending machine and books for passengers, and adopts the unattended self-service lending mode. The method of loan return is flexible. Readers can read on site and return on site. They can also take them to another union reading post station when they read and get off the train. They can also return them to any union library of library service in Beibu Gulf Economic Zone in the future. The construction of the "high-speed railway reading station" interconnection network in Guangxi makes the travel time full of books, and promotes the development of national reading and cultural exchanges between cities.

At present, taking Beihai, Qinzhou and Fangchenggang high-speed railway stations as pilot stations, Guangxi has built the union railway reading post station in Beibu Gulf Economic Zone, which will be gradually promoted to other railway stations in Nanning, Yulin, Chongzuo and other cities in the future.
