Chengdu's first multi express train successfully started

On May 5, a multi connected express train loaded with 39 groups of containers and nearly 2500 tons of gravel left Ebian station and drove to Puxing station, all of which were shipped in 35 tons of open top boxes. This marks a breakthrough in the operation of multiple express trains in Chengdu Branch of China Railway Container Transportation Co., Ltd.

Since this year, China Railway Container Co., Ltd. has made great efforts to promote the construction of multimodal transport operation enterprises, actively carry out marketing and organize the operation of multimodal express while doing a good job in epidemic prevention and control. In April, they organized a marketing team to investigate the market sources in Emei for many times, and found that the local gravel cargo volume was large, but the cost of road transportation logistics was high. Subsequently, they actively communicated and cooperated with local gravel enterprises, relevant logistics companies, Emei train depot, Ebian station, Puxing station and other units to strive for the freight rate fluctuation policy of Emei train depot. Finally, with the joint efforts of many parties, the express train from Ebian to Puxing finally started smoothly.
