Do well in disaster prevention and mitigation
May 12 this year is the 12th National Day for disaster prevention and mitigation. In recent years, China Railway Chengdu Bureau Group Co., Ltd. aims at the natural risks faced by the southwest mountainous railway, starting from improving the earthquake disaster prevention, flood control, accident rescue and other capabilities of the basic units of the railway, working together to lay a good foundation for disaster prevention and mitigation. In order to carry out the activities of this year's disaster prevention and mitigation day, Chengdu Bureau Group Company, based on the safety inspection, closely adheres to the theme of "improving the emergency capacity of the grass-roots level, building a strong people's defense line for disaster prevention, mitigation and relief", and refines the safety measures in railway transportation production, engineering construction and other fields in combination with the characteristics of frequent earthquake disasters and abundant rainfall in flood season in Southwest China. Relying on the platform resources of the local government, the group company of the Bureau improves the verification and identification ability of regional disasters, carries out troubleshooting of railway facilities and equipment, and carries out self-help and mutual rescue knowledge publicity in the event of high-risk disasters such as earthquakes, floods, landslides and so on by helping various platforms. In order to ensure safety and smooth flow, in view of the current severe situation in the flood season, Chengdu Bureau Group Co., Ltd. is carrying out in-depth investigation of disaster risks. Industrial power, public works, power supply and other professional forces make full use of UAV observation, high-altitude remote sensing mapping, hydrological and water and soil monitoring and other scientific and technological means to orderly identify potential risks, and apply electronic fence, foreign matter intrusion alarm system, slope micro motion monitoring system in key sections to further improve the railway's ability to respond to and prevent natural disasters. At present, more than 90 disaster prevention and monitoring equipment have been built and put into operation for Neijiang Pujiang railway under the control of the group company, and more than 730 sets of disaster prevention and monitoring facilities have been installed for 13 high-speed railway lines, including Xicheng, Chengdu Chongqing, Chenggui and Shanghai Kunming.
