The first 12000 ton heavy haul freight train of vari Railway

At 11:40 on April 11, 71503 freight trains with 106 cars and 12000 tons of coal were slowly departing from Changzhi South Station of vari line and heading for Rizhao port. This is the heavy haul train traction record again created by China Railway Zhengzhou Bureau Group Co., Ltd. on the varri line after the first unit heavy haul train in January 2018. Starting from Watang Town, Xingxian County, Shanxi Province in the West and ending in Rizhao City, Shandong Province in the East, the vari line is the first heavy-duty Railway built in one time to carry 30 tons of axle load vehicles in China, and it is also an important coal resource transportation channel connecting the East and the West of China. The main line of vari line is 1267.3km long, of which 334.4km is under the management of Zhengzhou Bureau Group Co., Ltd. At the beginning of the operation of vari line, the maximum number of freight train traction is 5000 tons. In recent years, China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. has organized 6 categories of heavy load comprehensive tests in 83 subjects in vari railway, and has made more than 40 scientific research achievements in rolling stock, track engineering, communication signal, traction power supply, heavy load transportation, vibration and noise, which has accumulated valuable experience for the management and operation of heavy load railway in China. On January 17, 2018, Zhengzhou Bureau Group Co., Ltd. officially launched the 10000 ton heavy haul train on the Wari line for the first time. In October 2019, the group company of the Bureau carried out the traction test of 12000 ton heavy-duty train on the vari line. On April 10, the national railway implemented a new train operation diagram. The fixed number of ten thousand ton heavy haul trains in watt day railway unit was adjusted from no more than 96 at present to no more than 106, and the transportation capacity was improved again.
