Manganese ore train in the new land sea channel in the West
At 16:30 on March 31, the container "point-to-point" transport train loaded with 2760 tons of manganese ore left Qinzhou Port Station for Guizhou Zhengtun station. This is the first container train of manganese ore opened this year in the new land sea corridor in the West.
The manganese ore loaded in this train is the raw material for the resumption of production of CITIC Manganese Mining Co., Ltd., which is mainly used for the production of silicon manganese alloy. Most of the related raw materials are transported to Qinzhou port by sea from Australia, Brazil, South Africa and other countries, and then transported to the factory by rail or road.
Recently, CITIC big manganese company has increased the purchase of raw materials. After learning this news, Guangxi Coastal Railway Company of China Railway Nanning Bureau Group Co., Ltd. organized marketing personnel to visit actively to publicize the advantages of railway container transportation, such as convenient, fast and pollution-free, and specially customized "point-to-point" logistics transportation scheme for the cargo owner; coordinated the downward floating freight rate to help the cargo owner save transportation time and logistics cost; arranged professional personnel for the enterprise Conduct business guidance in the process of filling containers on the site to prevent vehicle off load. This train stops directly at Zhengtun station in Guizhou Province, and there will be no further train breaking up and hanging.
The careful service of the railway won the approval of the shippers. CITIC manganese plans to ship 21000 tons of manganese ore by rail in the second quarter of this year, and 180000 tons in the whole year.
