Shanghai railway project planning in 2020, there will be 4 projects under construction and new projects in Shanghai in 2020!

On February 21, 2020, Shanghai development and Reform Commission released the list of major construction projects in Shanghai in 2020! The list of these projects includes many aspects, mainly focusing on science and technology industry, social livelihood, ecological civilization, urban infrastructure and so on. Eight projects are involved in railway construction.

 

In terms of railway construction, there are 4 projects under construction and newly started: Shanghai to Shanghai Railway phase I (Nantong Anting section), Shanghai to Shanghai Railway phase II (Taicang to Situan section), Shanghai Suzhou lake high speed railway and airport connecting line.

 

1. Phase I of Shanghai to Shanghai Railway: phase I of Shanghai to Shanghai Railway (Nantong Anting section) is 137.5km long in total, with a design speed of 200km / h. About 31 kilometers in Shanghai, including 17.74 kilometers of the main line, 5.88 kilometers of the additional third and fourth lines from Anting to Huangdu, and 7.7 kilometers of the new Huangdu to Fengbang up and down connecting lines; all of them are in Jiading, passing through Jiading Industrial Zone, Waigang, Anting, Nanxiang and Jiangqiao.

 

The total investment of the project is 20.382 billion yuan. At present, the construction unit is promoting the project track laying, OCS construction and other related work according to the plan. It is planned to open to traffic in October 2020.

 

2. Phase II of Shanghai to Hangzhou Railway: it starts from Taicang station of Nantong to Anting section of Shanghai to the north, and connects with the fourth group station of Pudong Railway in Shanghai to the south, connecting with the planned Shanghai Zha Hangzhou railway. The total length of the line is 111.8km, including 104.5km in Shanghai. There are six stations in the whole line, including Taicang station, Xuhang station, Waigaoqiao station, Caolu station, Shanghai East Station Station Station and Situan station. This line adopts the passenger and Freight Co line, with the design speed of 200km / h, meeting the conditions of double-layer container transportation, and the construction period is 5 years. The total investment of the project is 36.82 billion yuan.

 

The construction of Wusongkou Yangtze River tunnel crossing section and Waigaoqiao container operation station, the control project of the project, was officially started on December 15 last year.

 

3. Airport connecting line of Shanghai Railway: the project starts from Hongqiao hub and runs along the east side of Shanghai Hangzhou passenger dedicated line, chunshentang passage, south side of outer ring expressway S20 and south side of Yingbin Expressway S1. After passing Pudong Airport, it connects Shanghai east railway station. It passes Minhang, Xuhui and Pudong New Area, with a length of 68.6km.

 

There are 9 stations in total, including Hongqiao (existing), Qibao, Huajing, sanlinnan, Zhangjiang, resort, Pudong Airport, Pudong Airport Planning terminal and Shanghai east railway station. The project was officially commenced on June 28, 2019.

 

4. Husuhu High Speed Railway: the project, together with the south section of Shanghang high speed railway, forms an integral part of the high speed railway channel along the river. The feasibility study report of the project has been approved by the national development and Reform Commission in October 2018. The total length of the main line is 163.708km, including 64.853km of Shanghai section.

 

The supporting projects of Shanghai Hub include Hongqi connecting line reconstruction project, Shanghai Kunming railway reconstruction project, Chunshen connecting line project, Jinshan branch line downward line reconstruction project, Li Xin connecting line reconstruction project, Shanghai South Station common speed facility relocation project and Shanghai Kunming Railway Songjiang urban section southward relocation project, and new Songjiang south station. The estimated total investment of the project is 38.205 billion yuan. It is planned to start in 2020, with a total construction period of 4 years.
