At the construction site of the super large bridge of the Beijing Tangshan Tianjin Qinhuangdao upper link line in the high tech Zone of Tangshan City, Hebei Province, the workers of the railway engineering company of China Railway Electrification Bureau are making full use of the favorable weather conditions to carry out the pile foundation construction of the bridge. With the roar of drilling rigs, the construction of the new Beijing Tangshan Intercity Railway leading to Tangshan terminal station is stepping up.
Beijing Tangshan intercity railway is an important intercity high-speed railway serving the Bohai Sea and Beijing Tianjin Hebei region, with a total length of 148.7 km. The project starts from the newly established Beijing City sub center station and ends at the existing Tangshan station in Tangshan City, Hebei Province, with the maximum design speed of 350 kilometers per hour, passing through Tongzhou District, Langfang City, Tianjin Baodi District and Tangshan City, Hebei Province. There are 8 stations in the whole line, including Beijing Sub Center Station, Yanjiao station, Dachang station, Xianghe station, Baodi south station, yahongqiao station, Tangshan airport station and Tangshan station.

The railway engineering company of China Railway Electrification Bureau is mainly responsible for the construction of Beijing Tangshan main line leading to Tangshan station and the connecting line of Beijing Tangshan railway connecting to Tianjin Qinhuangdao high speed railway. Among them, the subgrade project connecting to Tianjin Qinhuangdao high-speed railway is the first high-speed railway subgrade reconstruction within the scope of China Railway Beijing Bureau Group.
according to the information of Tianjin Transportation Commission, by the end of 2019, the general plan of railway hub in the core area of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei was approved, and a series of high-speed railway projects in Tianjin have been determined. The land acquisition and demolition of the construction sections of Beijing Binhai and Beijing Tangshan intercity railway have been basically completed, and the control nodes such as Beijing Tangshan intercity railway crossing Jinji Expressway and Beijing Binhai intercity railway crossing Linda road have been closed, laying a solid foundation for ensuring the construction period of the whole line. at present, the inter city railway between Beijing Binhai and Beijing Tangshan is under construction in full swing, and the two railways will be opened to traffic simultaneously in the future. After the opening of the two railways, the time from Beijing to Baodi will be shortened to 18 minutes, and from Beijing to Tangshan about 35 minutes. Moreover, the Beijing Tangshan intercity railway will be connected with the tangcao railway, which greatly facilitates the personnel exchanges between Beijing, Tangshan and Caofeidian.
