Guangzhou plans 14 high-speed rail stations to reach the bay area city in one hour

the planning also adds Guangzhou Avenue line, which is parallel to line 3, connecting Baiyun, Tianhe, Haizhu and Panyu 4 areas from north to south, sharing the passenger flow pressure of line 3. It is planned to add a new East-West Linjiang Avenue line, connecting Liwan, Haizhu, Tianhe and Huangpu districts. The Linjiang Avenue section in Tianhe District and Huangpu District is parallel to line 5, sharing the passenger flow pressure of the east section of line 5.
