Beijing Zhangjiakou high speed railway has entered the operation test stage, and it will be opened at the end of December!

At 8:30 on December 3, with 55001 test trains departing from Beijing North Station, Beijing Zhangjiakou high speed railway (including Chongli railway) officially turned into operation test stage, and entered the countdown period when it was officially opened at the end of the year.

It is reported that the operation test will be carried out simultaneously in Beijing Zhangjiakou high speed railway, Xiahuayuan taizicheng section of Chongli railway, Zhangjiakou Huaian section of Zhangjiakou Huzhou high speed railway, and also in Beijing Zhangjiakou, taizicheng, Wulanchabu and Yanggao south.

Beijing Zhangjiakou high speed railway is an important part of the " eight vertical and eight horizontal " Beijing Lanzhou channel in the national medium and long term railway network planning. It is an important infrastructure project for the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, and an important transportation guarantee facility for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games.

Beijing Zhangjiakou high speed railway starts from Beijing North Station, passes Qinghe station, Changping Station, Badaling Great Wall Station, donghuayuan north station, Huailai station, Xiahuayuan north station, Xuanhua north station and Zhangjiakou station, with a total length of 174 km; the newly built Chongli railway is located in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, with a total length of 52.2 km from Beijing Zhangjiakou high speed railway Xiahuayuan North Station in the south to taizicheng station, mainly serving the Chongli competition area of the Winter Olympic Games It has been put into operation simultaneously with Beijing Zhangjiakou high speed railway. After opening to traffic, the time from Beijing to Zhangjiakou by high-speed rail will be shortened to one hour, and it will be connected with Huzhang and Dazhang high-speed rail lines, which is of great significance for promoting the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei and connecting the western region.
