The world's first intelligent high-speed railway
On December 30, at the original site of Xizhimen Station in Beijing, g8811 intelligent EMU train slowly drove out of Beijing North Station. The Beijing Zhangjiakou high-speed railway, which was constructed by China Railway 14th bureau group, was officially opened to traffic. This is the first intelligent high-speed railway in the world and also the important guarantee line for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games. A 6031 a 6031 Beijing Zhangjiakou high speed railway is 174 kilometers long. In 1909, the Beijing Zhangjiakou Railway, which was surveyed, designed and constructed by Zhan Tianyou, was opened to traffic. At that time, the speed of the train was only 35 kilometers per hour, and the whole journey took more than six hours. Today, the Beijing Zhangjiakou high-speed railway, which operates at the same starting point, has a speed of 350 kilometers per hour and a whole journey of less than 50 minutes. China's railway operation mileage has reached 139000 kilometers and high-speed railway 35000 kilometers, ranking first in the world. The
Tsinghua Park tunnel is the only shield tunnel in the whole line, with a total length of 6020 meters and a excavation diameter of 12.64 meters. It is the largest shield tunnel in Beijing at present. The excavation section of the tunnel is 4 times that of Beijing metro tunnel. The tunnel passes through the Second Ring Road, the Third Ring Road, the Fourth Ring Road and the Fifth Ring Road underground. Known as "the first tunnel of China's high-speed rail intelligent construction", it creates a model for high-speed rail to enter the city.
