On Saturday, Beijing subway will open new lines: East extension of line 7 (Global Holiday Resort
1 of coking plant), South extension of Batong Line (Global Holiday Resort
1 of Tuqiao), Shuangjing station of line 7 (including transfer channel). The first train will be officially opened for operation, and the global holiday Resort Station is temporarily unable to access.
East extension of line 7
Metro Line 7 extends to Chaoyang District and Tongzhou District in the East, with a total length of 16.67km and underground lines.
Stations: Huangchang station, langxinzhuang station, heizhuangto station, Wansheng west station, Wansheng east station, Qunfang station, gaoloujin station, Huazhuang station, global Resort Station
South extension of Batong Line
The South extension project of Batong line is an existing extension line of Batong line, ending at Universal Studios station. The total length of the South extension line is 4.5km.
Station: there are two new underground stations along the line, namely: Huazhuang station and global Resort Station
1. Huazhuang station
Huazhuang station is similar to Sihui station in design, with double island platform design. Line 7 uses the West platform and Batong line uses the East platform.
2. Global Resort Station
Universal Resort Station is the first traffic building in the city with large-span arch steel structure and planting roof. The undulating glass roof allows passengers to see the blue sky and white clouds. With the glass curtain wall on the north side, the visual experience is more transparent and bright.
Double well station and entrance / exit a of line 7 will be put into use synchronously
1. Shuangjing station is operated independently without transfer
With the opening of East extension section of line 7, double well station and entrance / exit a of line 7 will be put into use simultaneously.
It should be noted that due to the needs of reconstruction, double well stations of line 7 and line 10 are open for operation independently and do not transfer in the early peak period; two-way transfer is realized in other working days and rest days.
2. Closed D (southwest) entrance to reconstruct the basement
The twin well station of line 7 has attracted much attention because when line 7 was opened in 2014, the twin well station was not put into use synchronously and could not transfer with the twin well station of line 10. Many citizens are looking forward to it.
According to Beijing Municipal Transportation Commission, after careful demonstration and analysis, planning and design, and construction transformation, the expansion of the underground hall at the entrance and exit of twin well station a (northwest) has been completed.
With the opening of East extension section of line 7, double well station and entrance / exit a of line 7 will be put into use simultaneously.
But at the same time, the entrance and exit of D (southwest) should be closed, the transformation of the underground hall should be carried out, and the transformation of the North transfer hall should be promoted continuously. It is expected that the transformation will continue until the end of next year.
3. Strive to realize two-way full time transfer between line 7 and line 10
During this period, from the first bus to 10:00 a.m. on weekdays, the twin well stations of line 7 and line 10 are open for operation independently without transfer; on other hours and rest days on weekdays, the twin well stations of line 7 and line 10 realize two-way transfer.
Next, when the transformation of D (southwest) entrance and North transfer hall is completed, the two-way full time transfer between line 7 and line 10 will be realized.
