2019-12-27| Pandatrips | News

"Now I declare that the main bridge of Wufengshan Yangtze River Bridge is closed smoothly!" On the morning of December 26, at the scene of the construction promotion meeting of Helong Lianzhen railway, the main bridge of Wufengshan Yangtze River Bridge, when the last two steel beam joints were welded, Fei Gaoyun, vice governor of Jiangsu provincial government, announced the good news. The promotion meeting was presided over by Yang Yong, Deputy Secretary General of the provincial government, and attended by the relevant principals of Shanghai Bureau Group of China Railway, Provincial Department of transportation, Provincial Railway Office, Provincial Railway Group, Zhenjiang municipal government and China Railway Bridge Bureau Group. The construction of the

Wufengshan Yangtze River Bridge started in October 2015, with the investment of Jiangsu Railway Group as the main investment. It is under the construction management of Shanghai Railway Bureau Group, the design of China Railway Bridge Institute, the joint supervision of China Railway Academy bridge Institute and the construction of China Railway Bridge Bureau. The total length is 6409 meters, the main span is 1092 meters, and the upper layer is a two-way eight Lane Expressway with a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour. The lower layer is a four track high-speed railway with a design speed of 250km / h. The bridge is the first dual-purpose suspension bridge in China. It is also the world's fastest-moving, the largest operating load and the largest span dual-purpose suspension bridge. It is another monument in the history of bridge construction in China. A series of new structures, new materials, new processes, new technologies and new equipment have been adopted in the construction of a 6031 a 6031 Wufengshan Yangtze River Bridge, and dozens of patents have been obtained. The bridge is the world's first kilometer class high-speed railway suspension bridge. Two main cables with a diameter of 1.3m are used in the whole bridge. Each main cable is composed of 352 strands. Each strand is composed of 127 strands of galvanized aluminum high-strength steel wire with a diameter of 5.5mm and a tensile strength of 1860MPa. The tensile force of a single main cable is up to 90000 tons. As the most critical anchorage structure of suspension bridge, the North Anchor caisson is about 7000 square meters in plane size and 56 meters in depth, which is equivalent to the size of 16.7 basketball courts. It is the largest land caisson in the world. By the end of 2020, after the completion of Lianzhen high speed railway, it is estimated that it will take only about 1.5 hours to get to Zhenjiang by train from Lianyungang, 2 hours to Nanjing, 3 hours to Shanghai and 12 hours to Nanjing. Wufengshan Yangtze River Bridge is the key control project of Lianzhen railway. It is of great significance to improve the railway network of northern, central and southern Jiangsu, accelerate the integration of northern and central Jiangsu into the core areas of the Yangtze River Delta, promote the integrated development of the whole province, promote the development of the Yangtze River economic belt and the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.
