23 new bridges with a total length of 163.7km have been approved by the EIA for Shanghai Suzhou Lake railway
Recently, the Ministry of ecology and environment approved the environmental impact report on the new Shanghai Suzhou Huzhou railway, marking another big step forward in the construction progress of this major project.
according to the reply, the project is located in Shanghai, Jiangsu Province and Zhejiang Province, including the main line and related supporting works. The main line starts from Shanghai Hongqiao Station, passes through Minhang District, Songjiang District, Qingpu District, Wujiang District, Suzhou City, Nanxun district and Wuxing District, and ends at Huzhou station, with a total length of 163.7km. 23 bridges, 2 tunnels, 4 stations including Songjiang south station, FenHu station, Shengze station and Nanxun station will be built along the whole line. The existing Hongqiao Station and Huzhou station will be used, 3 traction substations and 1 expansion station will be built. The construction of a 6031 a 6031 Hu Su Hu railway is an important infrastructure to improve the layout of the Yangtze River Delta regional high-speed railway network and promote the economic and social development along the line.
