Demolition of the 33 kilometer Sichuan Guizhou railway crossing Zunyi City

After 90 minutes of intensive construction, the 10 day long relocation line of Sichuan Guizhou railway was connected "back" to the old line of Sichuan Guizhou railway.
it is reported that in the early morning of the 25th of last month, the transfer construction of Sichuan Guizhou railway was officially started. After 4 hours of intensive construction, the whole steel rail smoothly shifted 2.8 meters from the old line, and then connected to the new line. The transfer construction of Sichuan Guizhou outer transfer line was successfully completed. The 33 km existing railway crossing nangongshan, South Zunyi, West Zunyi and Nanguan town of Zunyi City was officially closed. After the Sichuan Guizhou line was opened, the 33 km line that originally crossed Zunyi City was officially demolished. After 10 days of intensive construction in Guiyang Public Works section, the 33 km old line was demolished and completed in the way of "demolishing while retreating". More than 6000 tons of rails and accessories were installed in three special trains, which needed to be transported out of the old line. On the morning of December 4, the purpose of this connection construction is to transport these old rails out smoothly. At 1:50 a.m. on December 4, the first train with full load of rails was successfully transported out; at 2:20, the third train passed through the docking point. At 5 a.m., the line was reconnected to the new line, and the construction was completed. So far, the original 33 kilometer line of Sichuan Guizhou railway crossing the urban area has completely withdrawn from the historical stage. It is understood that the removed old rails will be transported to Kaiyang branch line and some small stations of Sichuan Guizhou railway for continuous use, so as to ensure the safety and increase the benefit of the railway.
