This transnational railway has entered the stage of electrification construction!

On November 13, the first OCS pillar was erected in Yanhe Town, Yuxi City, Yunnan Province, marking that the electrification project of the domestic section of China Laos railway has entered a comprehensive construction stage.

The electrification project involves communication, power supply and other aspects, which is the last key process of railway construction. It is related to the safety of train operation after the completion of the railway and the experience of passengers on the Internet, communication and in and out of the station. There are many difficulties such as multiple cross interfaces, difficult precision control, and complex construction organization.

It is understood that 1103km catenary and 3463km cable need to be set up in the domestic section of China Laos railway. Because most of them are precision equipment, the construction error is calculated in mm.

According to the person in charge of Yumo Railway Project Department of Wuhan Electrification Bureau of China Railway, the whole line will be divided into three sections for construction, with more than 5000 on-line operators in peak period to ensure the construction period. At the same time, they will carry out construction in accordance with the standards of mechanization, industrialization, informatization and full automation of equipment to ensure the construction quality of the whole line.

China Laos railway starts from Yuxi City, Yunnan Province, China in the north, passes through Pu'er City, Xishuangbanna, Mohan exit of China Laos border port, and ends at Vientiane, the capital of Laos. It is a national first-class electrified railway with a total length of 508km and a design speed of 160km / h. After completion and opening to traffic, it will become another international railway channel in Southwest China.
