Completion of cable hoisting of Shanghai Tongjiang Yangtze River Bridge

On November 15, the hoisting of stay cables for the whole bridge of Shanghai Nantong Yangtze River Bridge was completed. The main channel bridge of Hutong Yangtze River Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge with two towers, five spans and three cable planes, with a total length of 2300 meters. The total weight of all stay cables of the bridge is 17747 tons, and 2000 MPa high-strength zinc aluminum coated steel wire is used for the first time in the world

Shanghai Nantong Yangtze River Bridge is a control project of the whole line of Shanghai Nantong railway. The two sides of the bridge connect Nantong City and Zhangjiagang City of Jiangsu Province. It is also the "Trinity" function of national railway, intercity railway and expressway, and it is the common river crossing channel of Shanghai Nantong railway, Suzhou Jiaxing intercity railway and Xitong expressway.
