Hot wire! Chongli railway whole line joint commissioning and joint test start

On October 22, with the comprehensive inspection train from Beijing Zhangjiakou high speed railway to daijiaying 1 bridge connecting Chongli railway at Xiahuayuan north station, Chongli railway, a key supporting traffic infrastructure project for the 2022 Winter Olympic Games in Beijing, was launched.

The new Chongli railway is located in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. It starts from Xiahuayuan North Station of Beijing Zhangjiakou high speed railway in the south, passes Xiahuayuan District, Xuanhua District, Chicheng County and Chongli District in the north, and reaches taizicheng station of taizicheng Olympic village. The total length of the line is 52.2km and the design speed is 250km / h.

The construction of Chongli railway started on October 9, 2016. It will be put into operation simultaneously with Beijing Zhangjiakou high speed railway, mainly serving the Chongli competition area of the Winter Olympic Games, and also an important part of the inter city railway network in Beijing Tianjin Hebei region.
