Qinling taixingshan tunnel is the longest tunnel in the whole line of Xikang high speed railway, with a total length of 18854m, large burial depth, relatively complex geological conditions, tunnel body crossing multiple faults. The construction period is 48 months, which controls the total construction period of the whole line. The design is recommended as the early commencement section. At present, the construction drawing review of Qinling taixingshan tunnel is completed, and the preliminary design of Xikang high speed railway is about to be approved, which means that Qinling taixingshan tunnel is about to enter the construction bidding stage, and it is expected to officially start construction within this year.
it is understood that Xikang high-speed railway is an important part of the national "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network, which is the North-South main channel of Shaanxi "meter" high-speed railway network, as well as an important infrastructure to guarantee the national "belt and road", "Yangtze River Economic Belt" and "western development" strategy. From Xi'an east railway station to Ankang west railway station via Zhashui, Zhen'an and Xunyang, the total length of the main line is 170.2km, the total investment is 32.92 billion yuan, and the planned construction period is 5 years. The whole line is equipped with 6 stations, i.e. Xi'an East, Taihe (Yingpan North), Zhashui West, zhen'anxi, Tongmu and Ankang West, with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. After the completion of the project, it will form a fast passenger transport corridor running through the west, connecting Chengdu Chongqing and Guanzhong, and the most convenient passenger transport corridor between Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Shanxi, Mengxi and the southwest.
