Nanyu railway connects the Beibu Gulf Urban Agglomeration and the southeast urban agglomeration of Guangxi, and extends eastward to Shenzhen, Guangdong Province in the long term. It is an important part of the south Shenzhen high-speed railway, and an important channel for docking the national "belt and road" initiative, implementing the "western development" strategy, and promoting the rapid development of regional economy. The whole line passes through Nanning, Guigang, Yulin and other three cities. The length of the main line is 193.31km. There are 6 stations in Nanning East, Wuhe (overtaking station), Liujing, Hengxian, Xingye South and Yulin north. There are 124 bridges and 35 tunnels in the whole line. The bridge tunnel ratio is 83.98%. The design speed is 350km / h. The total construction period of the project is 4 years. The approved budget is 26.768 billion yuan. The construction of Pingyue tunnel section and liangmu tunnel section has started in July.
