29 minutes from Pucheng to Xi'an after the design of PuHan section of West South Korea intercity railway is approved and completed

The reporter learned yesterday from Shaanxi Provincial Department of transportation that the preliminary design of Pucheng Hancheng section of Xi'an Hancheng intercity railway was approved by the provincial development and Reform Commission, laying a foundation for the construction of Pucheng Hancheng section.

Xi'an Hancheng intercity railway project has a total operation distance of 240 km, and the construction mileage of the project is 175 km. Along the line, it passes through Xi'an hub and many counties and cities in the north of Weihe River, and ends at Hancheng City. The design standard is 250 km high-speed rail per hour. With the rapid promotion of the construction of Hancheng Houma high speed railway in Shanxi Province, the line will be extended to Houma station of Daxi high speed railway in the East. The function of the line is that the intercity railway has the function of national road network. After the completion of the

project, not only will Hancheng Yellow River regional center city be included in the one hour economic circle of Xi'an international metropolis, but also the time from Pucheng to Xi'an will be shortened to 29 minutes, and the operation time of the high-speed railway from Xi'an, the National Center City, to Beijing will be shortened to 4 hours, and the time from Hancheng to Beijing will be shortened to 3 hours. This project will also become the first in Shaanxi Province. It is necessary to establish an intercity high-speed rail passenger transport corridor, realize convenient communication between the northwest and North China, further optimize the regional traffic structure, end the inconvenience of taking high-speed rail to Beijing and bypass Xi'an from many cities and counties in Guanzhong of our province, and effectively promote the rapid development of regional economy and society in our province.
