October 11 National Railway Mapping! These three changes are related to you!
From 10:00 on October 11, new train charts will be implemented on national railways. After mapping, 160 passenger trains and 9139 passenger trains were added to the national railways, of which 6739 trains were operated by EMUs, 95 trains by freight trains and 19295 trains by freight trains.
In order to earnestly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions and instructions on Railway work, and in accordance with the Central Committee's requirements for the deployment of "Six Stabilities", since September, the National Railway Group has launched a battle of "Three Guarantees, Three Increases".
The implementation of the new train diagram, closely combined with the opening of new railway lines, actively adapts to the characteristics of railway passenger and freight transport market and changes in demand, is an important measure to deepen the structural reform of railway supply side and win the battle of "three guarantees, three increases".
First, the passenger transport capacity of some regions has been significantly improved. Arrangement of 24 daily EMU trains in Beijing West-to-Xing Airport Section of Jingxiong Intercity Railway and 36 passenger trains in Meizhou-Chaoshan Railway, which opened on the same day as the new plan, will further facilitate the travel of people along the line and help the development of regional economy and society.
Secondly, some passenger train operation schemes have been optimized. Optimize and adjust the departure, arrival and stopping of some passenger trains to further facilitate passenger travel.
At the same time, the railway administration group companies implement the "one-day-one-map" for the general-speed trains in the pipeline. 93 general-speed trains will be operated on busy lines at weekends, and some EMUs will be re-connected to increase the supply of passenger transport capacity during peak hours.
Third, the capacity of railway freight corridors has been further improved. On September 28, the Haoji Railway was opened and operated, providing a new coal transport corridor running through the north and south of China, greatly enhancing the capacity of coal transportation from the north to the south, and providing reliable transportation guarantee for energy supply in central China.
At the same time, in order to fulfill the requirement of the central government to adjust the transport structure and increase the deployment of railway traffic volume, the State Railway Group has arranged the Baotou-Xi'an Railway to add 10,000 tons of trains, and to increase the number of freight trains in and out of Northeast China and its southern lower passage, Luohe-Fuyang and other railways.
