2019! Shanghe-Hefei-Hangzhou Railway marches into Wuhu
On the morning of October 9, the track laying of section 13 of Shanghe-Hefei-Hangzhou Railway to the Third Yangtze River Bridge in Wuhu laid a solid foundation for the whole line.
The first 13 benchmarking sections of Shanghe-Hefei-Hangzhou Railway Station are mainly responsible for 267.26 kilometers of track laying from Hefei to Wuhu, 103 sets of newly laid turnouts, 119501 cubic meters of paved ballasts, 336 holes of girders, and the transformation of two stations (including Feidong Railway Station and Hefei South Railway Station).
The Shang (Qiu) Hefei (Fei) Hangzhou Railway starts from Shangqiu Station of Henan Province of Zhengzhou-Xuzhou Railway. It passes through Bozhou, Fuyang, Huainan, Hefei, Wuhu, Xuancheng, Guangde and Huzhou of Zhejiang Province, and finally to Hangzhou East Station of Ningxia-Hangzhou High-speed Railway. The line is 794.55 kilometers long and the designed speed is 350 kilometers per hour.
The Shanghe-Hefei-Hangzhou Railway is scheduled to be officially opened in October 2020, when passengers can depart from Hefei by high-speed rail and arrive in Zhengzhou and Hangzhou within two hours.
