Datong High-speed Railway is connected to Datong in Shanxi Province in the West and Zhangjiakou in Hebei Province in the east. It is a double-track passenger dedicated line with a total length of 134.4 kilometers and a designed speed of 250 kilometers per hour. There are three stations in Datong South, Yanggaonan and Tianzhen. Dazhang High-speed Railway started construction in November 2015, and is expected to open at the end of this year in synchronization with Beijing-Zhangzhou High-speed Railway and Zhanghu High-speed Railway.
