Beijing-Zhangzhou High-speed Rail Line is a step closer to opening.

2019-09-18| Pandatrips | News

Recently, the traction substations of Beijing-Zhangzhou High-speed Railway have been switched on and off one after another. The success of one power transmission of the catenary of the whole line of Beijing-Zhangzhou High-speed Railway marks the realization of "electrification" of the whole line of Beijing-Zhangzhou High-speed Railway, which creates a precondition for the next full-line catenary hot-slip test.

Railway traction substation delivering power to catenary is an important node in the process of building new high-speed railway. As the "last stick" of Beijing-Zhangzhou high-speed railway construction relay race of "Lutong, Dongtong, Railway and Electricity", catenary directly undertakes the responsibility of providing powerful power sources for high-speed trains, and is also the key control of smoothly realizing "electrification" to ensure the power consumption of all railway stations and train equipment and to realize the joint commissioning of all railway equipment as scheduled. Engineering.

OCS power transmission

The process of overhead catenary power transmission refers to the transformation of 220 kV high voltage of the national local power grid into 27.5 kV single-phase AC through railway traction substation, which is then transmitted to the contact network above the high-speed railway line to provide kinetic energy for train operation.

In order to ensure the success of the first power transmission of the catenary, the Beijing-Zhangzhou Fourth Power Engineering Electrification Project Department of China Railway Electrification Bureau attaches great importance to it. It has organized on-site work coordination meetings for many times, compiled a detailed implementation plan for the power transmission of the catenary, established a leading group for power transmission, and carried out the power transmission strictly in accordance with the program specification process. The cold slip test of the front full line catenary, the issuance of power transmission notices to villages and towns along the road, and the timely inspection of the lines after power transmission, strict control of safety and quality, and the implementation of the main responsibility lay the foundation for the smooth entry of the Beijing-Zhangzhou high-speed railway into the joint commissioning test.

Jing Zhang high-speed rail

The Beijing-Zhangzhou high-speed railway is 174 kilometers long. It is an important transportation infrastructure for the Beijing Winter Olympic Games in 2022. The Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway is expected to open to traffic by the end of 2019. The fastest running time between Beijing and Zhangjiakou will be shortened from 3 hours and 12 minutes to less than 1 hour, and the intelligent technology will be fully covered.
