The Hangzhou-Huanghai High-speed Railway's first summer transport of 2131,000 passengers injects vitality into urban tourism along the line
According to China Railway Shanghai Bureau Group Co., Ltd., Hangzhou-Huanghai High-speed Railway, the first "most beautiful high-speed railway" connecting West Zhejiang and Southern Anhui, has made remarkable achievements in the summer transportation. It transports 2.31 million passengers, with an average daily transportation of 34.4 million.
On December 25, 2018, the Hangzhou-Huanghai high-speed railway opened and operated. It thoroughly opened the cut between the west of Zhejiang and the south of Anhui Province, linking up seven 5A scenic spots along the way. The cities along the route not only joined the "Yangtze River Delta High-speed Rail Economic Circle", but also joined hands with more than 70 cities throughout the country to achieve links with Northwest, North, East and South China.
The unusually hot passenger flow of high-speed railway has injected a continuous impetus into the development of tourism industry in Tonglu, Jiande, Chun'an, Jixi and other places along the line. After the opening of the high-speed railway, the source of passengers radiated to Beijing, Xi'an, Zhengzhou, Shenzhen, Xiamen and other places, with a wider range of passengers, and the proportion of individual passengers increased by more than 42% year on year.

Hangzhou-Huanghai high-speed railway not only brings many tourists to various scenic spots along the line, but also makes "parent-child tour", "family tour" and "free travel" a new fashion. Liu Dan, director of Qiandaohu Station, said that since 62 days of summer transportation, Qiandaohu Station has reached 324,000 passengers and sent 334,500 passengers, of which more than 85% are tourists.
It is understood that in order to facilitate passengers to enter and leave the Golden Tourist Line of Hangzhou-Huanghai High-speed Railway, 39 pairs of EMU trains have been arranged by the railway department. The trains run from 6:11 a.m. to 23:07 p.m., and the average running time is more than 10 minutes.
