China's railways will expand the pilot range of the application of electronic tickets from July 27 this year. On the basis of the trial implementation of electronic passenger tickets on the high-speed railway around Hainan Island, four high-speed inter-city railways, namely, Shanghai to Nanjing, Chengdu to Chongqing, Guangzhou to Zhuhai (Zhanjiang West), Kunming to Dali to Lijiang, have been added to carry out the pilot project of electronic passenger tickets. After the implementation of electronic tickets, passengers can print or download ticket purchase information sheets on their own. The entry and exit links can complete the verification of real-name system and check-in procedures through automatic gates based on the original valid identity cards of passengers used in ticket purchase. Later, as long as an ID card and a mobile phone, it will be easier to take the train to expand the scope.
