There are some changes in the process of "E-Ticket" ride in these six stations in Suzhou
Starting from July 27, 2019, the Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity Railway launched a pilot application of electronic tickets. Passengers purchased EMU trains between 20 stations on the Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity Railway Line. Only electronic tickets were sold and paper tickets were no longer issued. Inbound and outbound, ticket checking, refund, ticket reimbursement and other links have also changed accordingly.
In the waiting hall of Suzhou Station, we can see that the bulletin board of railway electronic passenger tickets is placed in a prominent position. According to the content of the bulletin, 20 stations of Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity Railway carrying out the pilot project of electronic passenger tickets are: Shanghai, Shanghai West, Nanxiangbei, Anting North, Huaqiao, Kunshan South, Yangchenghu, Suzhou Park, Suzhou, Suzhou New Area, and so on. Wuxi New Area, Wuxi, Huishan, Qishuyan, Changzhou, Danyang, Zhenjiang, Baohua Mountain, Xianlin, Nanjing, etc.
Passengers purchase tickets of "G" and "D" train within the scope of these 20 stations through 12306 official website (including mobile phone APP) or the above 20 ticket windows (including station self-service ticket machines and agent outlets), while railways only sell e-tickets. Only ticket information sheet, there is no original paper ticket, ticket information sheet only prompts the number of trains, car number, seat number and other information, not as a ride certificate. Passengers can register their mobile phone number when purchasing tickets if they need to receive train operation change information.
Passengers can complete the verification of real-name system and check-in and check-out procedures through self-service gates with original identity cards or other valid documents at the entry and exit stages. For those documents that are not automatically readable, such as household registration books, the verification of real-name system and check-in and exit procedures can be completed through artificial channels.
In the passenger link, when the train staff check the tickets, the original valid identity documents used in purchasing tickets are presented for verification.
Passengers who need to change their signatures or refund their tickets and use electronic payment to purchase tickets can go through the official website of China Railway 12306 or the designated window of the station to change their signatures and refund their tickets. Passengers who pay in cash or have printed their reimbursement vouchers must go to the designated window of the station to do so.
For reimbursement vouchers, passengers can print at the station ticket window (including the station self-help ticket machine and the agent outlet) with the original valid identity documents before driving or within 30 days from the date of taking the train. It should be noted that only reimbursement vouchers are printed, and can not be used as driving vouchers.
Railway departments warn that the pilot application of electronic tickets on Yangtze River Delta Railway is currently being tested only at 20 stations of Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity Railway. If either of the departure and arrival stations of the passenger section is not within the scope of the pilot project, the original ticket purchase method is still required.
