Construction of the first domestic single hole double track high speed railway subsea tunnel with design speed of 350 km / h
On July 27, the construction of Shantou Bay Subsea Tunnel on Shantou Shantou railway, the first one with a design speed of 350 km / h, was officially started, marking a solid step in the construction of China's high-speed rail in the sea area.
Shantou Bay Subsea Tunnel, located in Shantou City, Guangdong Province, passes through Shantou Bay between Mayu island and Dezhou Island downstream of Shantou Bay Bridge, with a total length of 9781m. It is a control project for the whole line of Shantou Shantou railway. It is constructed and managed according to grade I risk tunnel.
The tunnel passes through 17 fault fracture zones, of which 8 are active faults, facing the test of high water pressure environment and high-grade erosive environment in sea area, so the construction is very difficult.
Shantou Bay Subsea Tunnel is contracted by China Railway Design Group Co., Ltd. The design of the tunnel has achieved many breakthroughs in the fields of underwater tunnel, railway tunnel and super large diameter shield tunnel at home and abroad. Its construction environment is complex and harsh. It represents the high-tech level of China's high-speed railway subsea tunnel construction in terms of design and construction difficulty, operation standards and risk control.
