According to the demand of tourism market and passenger flow in popular directions, the railway departments take measures to provide differentiated transport capacity, actively organize the operation of tourist trains, reasonably adjust and optimize ticket selling strategies, and strive to meet people's travel needs. In July, 7092 passenger trains were put into operation every day, with an increase of 564 trains on a month on month basis, an increase of 8.6%; and an average of 6.67 million passengers were sent per day, an increase of 1.288 million compared with the average of June. On July 25, 7.9 million passengers were sent by railways across the country, setting a new one-day passenger flow after this year's Spring Festival.

The railway department has continuously improved its services and continued to implement preferential policies for ticket prices in 25 intercity railways, so as to realize the full coverage of e-ticket for high-speed rail and intercity railway in the mainland. On the basis of the implementation of e-ticket for general speed railway in a large area on June 20, the railway department implemented e-ticket in 119 stations of Baia, Jingyuan, neiliu and Qinghai Tibet lines in July. At present, there are nearly 2700 railway stations implementing e-ticket in China, and more and more people enjoy the convenience of "one pass" with valid ID card.

During the summer transportation, the railway department insisted on the normalization of epidemic prevention and control, and strictly implemented various epidemic prevention measures, such as temperature measurement of stations and trains, ventilation and disinfection, and setting up emergency isolation seats. In view of the impact of flood on railway transportation, the railway department has always insisted on putting the safety of passenger trains in the first place, taking measures such as reducing the operation of railway passenger trains in mountainous areas, reducing the speed of passenger trains in some sections, and adjusting the operation routes, etc., and optimized and adjusted the operation schemes of passenger trains passing through 14 lines such as Shanghai Kunming, Nankun and Xiangyu and 45 key flood control sections Avoid danger and ensure safety.
