The largest station in the domestic section of China Laos railway is about to debut

Recently, the earth rock engineering of Pu'er station, the largest station in China Laos railway, has been completed and entered the finishing stage. China Railway No.8 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. has started the greening project construction in an all-round way. In combination with local climate conditions and regional characteristics, Hibiscus rosa, Ligustrum lucidum, Photinia serrulata and calyx sepal flowers are selected for planting. Up to now, nearly 700000 green plants have been planted by construction workers, which has improved the image of Pu'er station.

Pu'er was once an important post station on the ancient tea horse road and one of the important producing areas of Pu'er tea. The construction of China Laos railway is in full swing, which will give Pu'er a new look.

Pu'er station covers an area of more than 450000 square meters, with nine tracks set up in the station yard, which is one of the "ten key projects" in Pu'er City, and also one of the key stations to create "green corridor, beautiful station area and boutique station building" in the domestic section of China Laos railway. The passenger volume of the station is expected to be more than 700000 in the initial stage and more than 2 million in the long term.
